Renowned sax player to perform at Cosmic Walk

LITCHFIELD Wisdom House is please to announce that award winning saxophonist Paul Winter will join us for the Casagrande Interfaith Institute on Oct. 31 for the Cosmic Walk. 

     Winter is a composer, explorer of the world’s musical traditions and is motivated by a vision of  a musical-ecological community.  He will play a musical piece to open the Cosmic Walk which will be done in honor of the life and work of  cultural historian Fr. Thomas Berry.

     The cosmic spiral will be walked by Judith Ehrman-Shapiro of Litchfield and guided by Miriam Therese MacGillis, OP of Genesis Farm,  Blairstown, NJ.

      The Interfaith Institute opens on Friday Oct. 30 and closes on Nov. 1 with lunch.  A panel of interfaith presenters will speak to the issue of “A Change of Climate” and how their faith traditions view, understand, and act in relation to climate change and their understanding of the new cosmology.
