Rabia Chaudry, president-elect of the Muslim Coalition of Connecticut, is Creedible’s newest blogger.
Her blog is called “Barakah: Musings of a modern-day Muslimah,” which means “Blessings: musings from a modern-day female Muslim.” Chaudry, an immigration attorney, is passionate about social justice issues and is very active in Connecticut’s Muslim community. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Madina Academy, the first Islamic school in Connecticut and is a Fellow with the American Muslim Civic Leadership Institute.
In her first post, “And so here we are,” Chaudry introduces herself by by telling the story of her faith journey.
