Creedible to celebrate first anniversary

BRISTOL – On Aug. 27 will celebrate its first anniversary by hosting a fundraiser with live music, refreshments and an opportunity for churches and clergy to network with one another.

The event will be held at St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church at 1125 Stafford Ave. in Bristol. Music includes a variety of performers, from Boys in Hats’ folk sounds to Georgia Davis of the Big-A Gospel Headquarters in Waterbury and Redeemed, a contemporary Christian rock band. The event is also an opportunity for churches to learn about one another.

“There are so many incredible ministries going on throughout Connecticut and I think churches can team up and work together if they just take the time to meet each other,” said Tracy Simmons, editor of Creedible.

She added that one of Creedible’s underlying missions is to educate people about other faiths, which is why she’s excited to provided this opportunity in August. Though Christian music will be provided, people of all faiths are welcome to attend.
