BRISTOL –It’s been a busy month so far at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Bristol as the parish recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. Not only did the congregation host the nearly 200 Lutherans who attended the South Central Connecticut Mission Area Assembly last weekend, it was also wrapping up the film production of a whole new look for its own public access television program.
“Lutheran Table Talk” is broadcast Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. on Nutmeg TV (channel 5). Pastor Paul Krampitz, who has hosted the weekly show since its inception nearly three years ago, says the show is an important part of the congregation’s outreach ministry. He credits the volunteer crew, all members of St. Andrew, for making the show possible. The new introduction will feature highlights of past shows, behind the scenes looks at the production of the show, as well as the many special events taking place at the church throughout the year. The new Intro. also features the debut of Lutheran Table Talk’s very own theme song, written and produced by members of the congregation. Krampitz says that the entire crew is very excited about the upcoming season and hoping that even more people will join the already large number of regular viewers.
