BRISTOL — Meditating about the events of Jesus’ final days and his resurrection can be profound. The challenge for many is shutting out the noise and distractions of everyday life long enough to quiet our souls and listen to the Spirit of God.
St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bristol invites you to walk the Journey to the Cross on March 31. Begin this self-paced journey anytime between 10 a.m and 7 p.m. Allow an hour to complete the journey. The script uses simple yet profound images and words that stir our senses of touch, taste, smell, sight and sound. Previous participants have been deeply moved by the experience.
This Journey to the Cross is not about an agenda or meeting one’s expectations. It is simply a time and place for you to draw close to Jesus, according a press release sent by the church.
