The American Academy of Religion is hosting its annual conference this week in Montreal, and many Connecticut religion professors are among the many panelists here. The conference, I should note, marks the organization’s 100th anniversary.
In case you’re not familiar with the AAR, it’s an organization made of scholars and teachers who are dedicated to studying the role religion plays in communities, individuals, politics and the economy. The AAR has more than 10,000 members who teach in more than 1,500 universities around the world.
